    How To Process

    From the outset, we take the time to get to know you and understand your needs.

     

    We make a commitment to work with you for the long term, on a robust but responsive wealth management strategy.

     

    If you’re a new client, we’ll start the journey by taking stock of your current financial situation, discussing your goals, and identifying what current barriers are preventing you from achieving these goals.

     

    We then research, develop and implement a sound financial strategy to help you overcome the barriers and set you on the path to achieving your goals.

     

    Like any goal, accountability is key to success, which is why we undertake regular reviews to ensure you’re on track, offering advice as the market and your personal situations change

    STARTING OUT

    An obligation-free initial meeting to provide a high-level overview of tactics that may be considered in your financial plan. This meeting will also ascertain if we are a good fit to work together.

    •      A fee proposal is sent post-meeting.

    MILE STONE TO WEALTH:

    Analysis of both sides of your personal budget:

    Your asset position:
    a. What is your net worth and how will this look in 3, 5 and 10 years’ time?

    Your cash flow position:
    a. Determining your budget to implement an investment plan

    Once we have clarity on your current position, we work to gain an understanding of your financial needs and goals. For example:

    • Children assistance, school funding and general needs
    • Short-term objectives, for example, holidays, car upgrades, change in career and change in family position
    • Medium-term goals, for example, home upgrades and investment portfolio accumulation
    • Long-term goals, for example, your ideal retirement age, how much income you need to retire

    PATHWAY TO WEALTH

    Our job is to provide you with strategies to assist you in meeting your goals.

    RETIREMENT ADVISE

    Our advice will be presented in a document called a “Statement of Advice”.

    A meeting is scheduled to present this document and discuss our advice at length.

    Once you are comfortable with the advice, you sign an “Authority to proceed” allowing us to implement the advice presented.

    RETIRE IN STYLE

    As every plan is different, the implementation requirements will also be different; however it can include things such as:

    • Establishing accounts/policies
    • Co-coordinating rollovers/contributions
    • Activating the underwriting process if necessary
    • Purchasing required investments
    • Liaising with insurers to get best possible terms
    • Confirming and communicating final terms of insurance cover
    • Scheduled ongoing management of your plan
